Annual General Meeting

First - sip a brew - and take in our AGM that kicks off with a welcome address from Amar Mehta, ISA Calgary Section 2025-2026 President. Following this we'll introduce our 2026-2027 Board, review financials, and close with a question & answer period.

Technical Talk Overview

Next - fill your plate - and take in our Navigating the Platform Calgary Ecosystem Technical Talk by Paula Canas, Manager of Founder Success at Platform Calgary. In this session, Paula will provide a roadmap of the resources available at Platform Calgary and how the ISA community can actively participate. She will explain the benefits of Platform Calgary membership, highlight upcoming workshops, and detail the various cohort programs designed to help startups scale. Paula will also touch on key ecosystem events and provide clear guidance on how attendees can take advantage of these offerings to bolster their own ventures or provide expertise to others. The session will conclude with a dedicated Q&A to dive deeper into specific interests.

Paula Canas is the Manager of Founder Success at Platform Calgary, where she oversees the Founder Success team, which focuses on streamlining the journey for early-stage startups, helping them navigate the complexities of product validation and market entry. She is a dedicated advocate for Calgary's startup community, bridging the gap between early-stage founders and the resources they need to transition from idea to scale.
